I love your personal tumblr page as well as deathfatties… I’m really into body-positive stuff these days, thanks to my girlfriend, who is a gorgeous woman who, like me, falls into the “morbidly obese” category on the bullshit BMI. She loves who she is, and it shows. Confidence is sexy as all hell. Her support, and blogs like yours, have made me come a long way in my acceptance of my own struggles with my weight and body image. Her confidence in who she is, regardless of body type norms/societal constructs of what is beautiful, is amazing and so inspirational.
I know it’s a lot easier in this patriarchal society for a fat man to be accepted, but regardless, there are some guys who have the same body-issue problems. There aren’t a lot of body-pos blogs for men out there, so I hope you don’t mind that a fat, genderqueer punk rocker is hanging around your pages and loving all the positive energy. I would totally submit photos of my outfits, but I know this is a blog for the ladies… Thanks for all the great work you do here and there (and sorry for the huge letter in your submit box, but there wasn’t an ‘ask’ box)! <3
